ABOUT MY REAL ESTATE CAREER
My involvement in the real estate industry began in 1979. I started in my real estate career, straight out of high school, in Southern California. I was offered an opportunity while employed with a new home builder, to throw my hat into the ring as a New Home Salesperson. I relocated to the Northern California area in the early 1980’s.
At the end of my New Home Sales Career, I had spent nearly 20 years selling new homes and condominiums for publicly traded builders all over Northern California.
It was highly suggested that I accept a position in a senior management position with the builder I worked with at the time, Richmond American Homes. Long story short, I subsequently held positions as Director of Sales and Marketing for Richmond American Homes and KB Home, both in the Bay Area. I was then lured away to take a position at Meritage Homes as VP of Sales and Marketing for the Bay Area. after 27 years in that sector of Real Estate Development and Marketing, I voluntarily decided to take a 1 year long, self imposed sabbatical.
In 2007, I brought the skills and training I learned in the corporate builder world to the Real Estate Resale sector. Real Estate is all I know. I have been with the same office for 13 years. My office is located in The Streets of Brentwood.
In 2008, 2009 and 2010 I assisted investors in the purchase of about 100 homes at the Contra Costa Court house steps, with buying at the Foreclosure Auction. I assisted in renovating thee homes and listing the homes for resale. During this same time, and extending to 2011, I helped about 125 Sellers move on with their lives by negotiating the Short Sales on their homes, so they could start rebuilding their lives. Many of these Seller’s have become my Buyer clients in the past 5 years.
My positive attitude and dedication to customer satisfaction, assisted in all the above builders in maintaining their positions in the top 10 builders in the Bay Area, as voted by the home buyers. I have close to 43 years of experience in all aspects of residential real estate sales and marketing.
Before I moved into the resale end of Real Estate Resale I was recipient of the Platinum Award from the National Sales and Marketing Council for assisting and managing residential escrows totaling 176 million dollars of real estate in a single year.
I have been awarded the 5% to 10% Top Nationwide Intero Producer Award out of about 4000 agents, for the past 12 years.
.Approximately 70% of my business is from referrals from previous clients. I truly feel that “Experience Matters”. I have been involved in thousands of transactions. Nothing can replace the experience one learns from the shear volume of transactions I have been a part of.
ABOUT ME PERSONALLY
I moved to Brentwood in 1999, after 18 years as a resident of San Francisco. I have lived in the same home since 1999, and been with the same Real Estate team since 2007. I have had t a family of French Bulldogs for 18 years. I am also a volunteer and foster mom for the French Bulldog Rescue Network.
